Mind-map
Mind mapping is a form of brainstorming in which facts and ideas about a subject are represented in the form of a diagram with the main subject at the center and sub-topics and related ideas radiating from it.
Here is my mind-map that reflects a combination of my first definition of DE, Moore & Kearsley's (2012), and my progression in learning more about DE.

Revolutionary Grid
As a study group project, my study group and I documented the evolution of distance education DE in a revolutionary grid. The Google doc highlights numerous important factors that have influenced surges or waves of development. These factors include economic, political, societal, and technological changes, and from these changes emerged new theories, institutional and organizational developments, teaching and learning methodologies, technologies, and new scholars.
